Ode to My Glue Stick

My friend suggested I add Haiku to my site...while I don't have any readily available, I do have this small poem I wrote several months ago while mailing out invoices at work:


Oh my dear glue stick
how lovely though art
lavender in color
so sticky and smart
you've saved my poor toungue
from wasting away
while envelope after envelope
you seal day after day
