On the Road Again...

I am flying back to Ohio on Thursday and quickly hopping in my sisters Pontiac Sunfire to head back here. I will miss a few things, one of which is Brendon's official moving day, the one Saturday I am totally off rehearsals that I could help him...but alas this is the only window of time I have in which to get a car. My trouble...no car, no $ for down payment on new one :( So, my sisters car that would sit for 7 months, unused in Ohio is getting a temporary home while I save money for a car of me own.

Now, while the drive is quite daunting to me...I'm scared really...I also think this could be really fun! So, I'm charging the battery on my digital camera and gearing up for a once in a lifetime trip! I hope it's once in a lifetime because I am driving alone. I really don't like to be alone that much. A few hours is good, refreshing, you know. But more than 8 hours and I get pretty lonely. So this is a chance for me to enjoy my own company, the scenery, the peacefulness of driving and to learn a few things. I have never liked being in hotels alone or checking in alone but there is an empowerment that follows doing stuff on your own. That's good. And I know I can do it so that's that! Brendon is generously plying me with music for the drive and learn to speak spanish CD's and Tolkein on CD...13 CD's!! Yay! Plus, if anyone has beef with me, I have nothing but free minutes on the cell and an open road to hash it out...my number is 7....just kidding :) but do call if you want to talk to me and usually have trouble tracking me down, because I'll have time Friday thru Monday!
