Second Coming

Yes, we all know I had some annoying PMS last week (was it last week?). Well, now I think it's PMS where the P stands for Post instead of Pre. Let me explain something, sometimes when you're done, your body gets pulled off cycle if you are around another woman whose cycle is more dominant and your back at square one, cramps and all. Men may think this is a bit of mystical, far fetched, unicorn, fantasyland bejizzle (though I hardly call two weeks of cramps fantasy) but if you have had sisters or a haram you'd understand. I wish there was a medical study I could dredge up to show you this pesky phenomena hmmm...gotta google. Regardless, I have felt the physical and emotional effects of womanhood...again and I can think of a few reasons why. One, I have been around another...a few other women whose cycles are more dominant than mine (mine is actually quite passive), two, I have been really stressed which messes up my cycle and three, I have changed my eating/exercising habits a bit. All three things can affect this lovely condition. Oh, and for those who think that emotions are created during this time and have no grounding in reality, let me clarify...PMS does not make emotions or feelings, PMS can heighten/dramaticize the reaction to an emotion that is already there. Hence if I'm sad, I'm more inclined to cry about it or angry, I'm more inclined to brood. For me it's more the crying really. So don't pull my hair this week ;)
