Happy Thanksgiving
I love the holidays! Of course, part of that, I'm sure, is my dramatic nature. I have always loved special days and my family completely fostered that..we celebrated everything from groundhogs day to Christmas with an air of romance. St. Patricks day leprechauns dyed our milk green and left us speariment gum and tic tacs, and on valentines day my mom would dye our cream of wheat red or pink (it's all about the food coloring apparently). I continue this to the best of my ability now. and so Thanksgiving is exciting to me along with advent, christmas, the feast of the epiphany...
So, have a great holiday whether you're celebrating or just relaxing!

well, I sent Ed and email but for those wondering:
1. Yes I believe there is value in getting involved in an abused persons life (aren't we all abused to some degree?)
2. God has never just been a vent for my frustration.
Thanks Ed, I always welcome advice and help, thought provoking questions, especially from my elders but from peers as well. and thanks for taking an interest in my blog and my questions of faith
