Audition!
Guess what...on a whim about three weeks ago as I was researching RENT I came across a post on their website that said that the casting directors are always looking for fresh faces for the national tour of RENT so I sent in my headshot, resume and cover letter. On Friday I got a call from NEW YORK...they set up an audition for me...a personal audition...for MIMI!AAAAAOOOOOOOO!
So, I'm grounded, I'm cool. I understand the game. But I'm so stoked. I was emailed three songs to sing. Lucky for me I memorized most of her songs as soon as I started listening to the soundtrack! The audition is Wednesday morning at 11:30 so send your good thoughts and love my way :) I'm just looking so forward for the opportunity to belt "Out Tonight". Meow!

wow!! good luck! i don't know who mimi is, and personally don't really care for musicals... but i do wish you the best of luck... and who knows, if you got in maybe i'd even consider seeing it!
