Sunday Update
Well, I wasn't going to post, but...whatever.
Today I took the bike Brendon gave me for my birthday last year to the beach! For the first time. It was a perfect day for that, overcast but warm enough. I went to Newport Beach and the bike trail is so cool, it goes past the beach, on the side streets for a bit (I passed a small park with a public bathroom, I took my bike right into the stall! I didn't know what else to do, I felt like a nerd but, it worked right?) then it curves under the PCH and out a long ways. Oh it was such a wonderful feeling with the sea breeze in my face. I fell in love with the beach today. I've lived here nearly two years and one year before that and I just now realized how beautiful and calm the beach is. Better late then never right? After I biked a bit, I pulled out my new Asics Nimbus(the frog green ones, I went back to Chicks three times to get that color. funny side story, the eighteen year old sales fella...gave me his cell number! Ha! I feel so old when stuff like that happens. and it NEVER happened when I was 18..I guess cuz they thought I was twelve then:) and jogged a bit.
I am always amazed at the amount of active familys at the beach here. It's great. I can't imagine raising kids out her, it's so cool, there's so much active, healthy stuff to do.

ok, win. i'm jealous.
i've been thinking about taking my niece roller blading along the beach once school's out. i can't wait.
