Phone Faux Pas:

I keep transferring Kathy's calls to Greg and vice versa. Why? Because Kathy ext. is 226 and Greg's is 223 and 223 seems feminine to me and 226 masculine. I don't know why. Perhaps my archaic, oldfashioned self feels women are inferior to men and so me will always have higher number - 6 versus 3. Or perhaps the shape of the numbers has something to do with it...I kind of doubt it though, sixes are curvy. For whatever reason, since I was young sixes were male and threes were female in my mind and now that way of thinking is messing up my day job! ;)

btw, all numbers seem to have a gender to me and a color assigned to them. This goes for words too. What a wierdo.
