Busi, busi, busi...
Well my first Lotus performance is tomorrow night at Caspian. Before the show tomorrow I must:
1. buy the shoes and break them in (I am going up to LA before rehearsal tonight to get them)
2. buy a fall for my hair. all the girls usually get them at hair depot, so I'm in search of one of those that's not in Venice beach!
3. buy specific undergarments (flesh colored things, you know)
4. Learn the dances ;) no time like the present I guess.
I'm excited! and I'm doing a second show on Friday at the Wyndham Hotel in Fullerton. I'll try to take some pictures.

So I know you know "busi" is actually spelled "busy" which must mean that you are trying for some chic edgy ethnic thing... right? Or is it some play off being a belly dancer in someway... or I know... "y"'s are evil?
good luck!! are these private party shows or do people by tickets?
Busi is my favorite song that we dance to(and I used it b/c phonetically it looks like "busy")...I'll show you at home, you'll get a kick out of it :) There are regularly scheduled weekend shows at family restaurants and clubs and then there are a lot of private parties, weddings, events that they are scheduled for. The one I'm doing tonight is at Caspian which is a restaurant...in Irvine!
