Flattery will get you...everywhere!
Our delivery guy (and I when I say guy, I mean young man..he couldn't possibly be any older than 21) just paid me the following compliment:
D: you know that tv show "Bones"
C: yeah, I've heard of it
D: you look like the girl on that show, only way hotter
C: wow, thanks, you made my weekend
D:(turns and exits out the front door)
he he he, what a nice thing to say! However, I didn't know which female he was referring to so I googled it...Emily Deschanel. I'm flattered to say the least!
One word of advice to the young man...beauty fades. I hope the woman he thinks is gorgeous for the rest of his life is wonderful, compassionate and really, really, honest.
