Run

Why is it so hard to be alive?
Can't trust myself to see with clear enough eyes.
Once I begin to see a purpose to my labor,
I am turned around again,
and I've created debts that I can't pay for.

Had I known in my youth,
that I would grow so dumb,
I would have skipped all my lessons
and simply learned to run.
