Well, I am financing my first car. I call it The Egg. I'll post a pic after I take one (maybe tonight). It's really cute, a white Ford Focus ZX3, a 2005 but never owned, 12 miles on it...not 12k...12. He he, my first breath of "new car smell"...exciting and scary at the same time...
It was a group effort really. Melanie sat down to look at cars with me online and explained what to look for (mileage...ect). I found a car I thought was perfect, ran it by Brendon who readied himself to take me to buy it on Saturday. Brendon's father called Saturday, literally a half hour before we were to leave to buy the 2002 Focus Wagon and let us know of an ad for a 2006 Focus that was cheaper and no miles on it....five hours later after Brendon proved himself a warrior at the dealership :) I drove off in a car and had signed five years away to Ford...ta da

I had that same all grown up feeling a couple of months ago. 1st time I've ever had a car payment and first time I've ever owned a NEW car.
Oh wow. I have yet to get there. Congratulations!!
