Quest

When I moved to my new place, instead of buying a real bed, which I've never owned, I bought this fantastic (hold your judgements) air bed that came 4 feet off the floor and looked when all made up like a mattress and boxspring combo (the longest run on sentence ever!!). It's a queen too! Well, I have adored this bed of mine for the last month and a half but now, oh woe is me, it deflates in like 20 minutes. I cannot find the hole or leak to save my life and it's sad because I love this bed. I spent a pretty penny on it and..well I'm so proud of it. So now I must buckle down and buy a big girl bed for the first time. I'm searching because I want it to be just right and also not too expensive...but seriously. So I was reading metafilter to see about boxsprings and someone asked "do I need a boxspring with my mattress?" and this reply made me giggle! "A boxspring is good if you like your bed to squeak, other than that I'm not sure." Tee hee! Well, as I share a wall with my roommate perhaps a boxspring is a bad idea :)
