Just call me The Wedding Planner. My brother's fiancee Paige, and I went wedding dress shopping yesterday. We looked over the ceremony and reception details, layouts, possible flowers. Then she asked me to be a brides maid and since her MOH is out of town...and I cut her off and said if she needs an in town MOH I'd be happy to be there for her. I know it might seem, what with being Aprils out of town liason I might be up to my ears in wedding stuff BUT I actually love it. And I haven't been part of my family for so long that sharing these experiences with Paige and Eric and April and Ken indulge my sense of connection.

So, I am starting binders for both weddings (just like the event planner I was taught to be in school). I think this is mostly for myself but it might produce a nice keepsake for the couples. And who knows, perhaps it will launch a new career for me :)

P to the S. in other news, I totally got stood up tonight. Another reason to write off men. If only, if only. Fucking happy couples!
