Tomorrow is...
Brendon's Birthday! February 1st, easy to remember :)
In honor of his 31'st, here is 31 things I have learned about Brendon:
1. He is a geek
2. He likes dark chocolate more than milk chocolate
3. He goes through movie phases...foreign, action, serious, silly
4. He likes to read
5. especially non-fiction books
6. but he likes sci-fi novels
7. he can dance ;) but he wouldn't tell you that
8. he actually does like whiskey now, a little
9. Brendon is not very good at playing "nertz"
10. Brendon does laundry once a week
11. He shrunk the cashmere sweater I gave him for Christmas before New Years...but it fits him better now.
12. He had never been to The Block until last year
13. Brendon loves magic tricks. He used to love going to the magic store as a kid.
14. Brendon lets me give him online quizzes sometimes, he's such a good sport.
15. Brendon has only been drunk once. I hadn't met him yet but he was wwwwaaaay over 21.
16. Brendon eats all the vegetables out of his stirfry except for the snow peas (he might eat a few but they're usually left on the plate)
17. One of the first things Brendon did for me was to make homemade miso soup for me after a particularly long day at work
18. Brendon bought a large portion of his wardrobe at Old Navy
19. He brought me flowers to work on day with a bag of cough drops b/c I was sick
20. Brendon, at one time, owned a Bazouki, Mandolin, various guitars, tin whistle and japanese wind intstrument that I can't remember the name of
21. I think he sold the bizouki before he moved
22. he moved into an apartment by hisself (purposfully wrote it that way) in October.
23. He made gingerbread houses with me this Christmas out of graham crackers, icing and candy
24. his was so much better than mine I nearly cried!
25. instead, I ate mine after a week and proceeded to eat his too! yum.
26. he is a good sport about hanging out with me and the theater crowd
27. although once he got upset at me when we went to a party at a hotel. we were just playing card games but a few people were loud drunks...not our scene really.
28. I thought he was 24 when I met him
29. I had just pierced my toungue and still felt like I was talking with a lisp..he didn't seem to notice and doesn't remember
30. he tried to impress me that day with his knowledge of prime numbers..ha!
