Ashes to Ashes...

I grew up Catholic, I even considered, through highschool, becoming a nun. (FYI there are no dancing nuns that I could find...). Ash Wednesday is important to me. The whole Lenten season is full of meaning. I was discussing this with Melanie who grew up Lutheran. Both of us now are non-denom...we go to a church cause' we like it whatever the denomination. But for us Ash Wednesday and it's corresponding Holy Days are mucho importante. But not for the churches we have attended of late, churches we love and respect. Hmmmm....perhaps it just familiarity that we seek. I don't know but here is a link I found that goes over the history....
