Goodbye Cali

I've been so super busy, I haven't been keeping up with anything. But my bags are packed (mostly) and Brendon is picking me up at 10 to go to the airport tomorrow. I have sufficiently celebrated with friends who gave me multiple, generous, and enjoyable sendoffs, I have stuffed myself of hershey kisses, alcohol, and my sisters delectible chocolate covered oreo's from Ketchikan, Alaska. I have cried many stress induced, pms induced, sentimental tears all over Brendon. I'm ready to see my first glimpse of the world outside the US.

In other news, the people I love around me are changing and growing and it's awesome. Melanie's got different job opportunites working...in her chosen field!!! How cool is that?

My little brother is full on a reserve and back in Ohio! able to be an EMT!

My older brother is in the process of decking out his apartment with filmmaking equipment, ready to take his next career step.

My sister is LOVING her Alaskan cruise, taking helicopter rides and seeing the sights. To think, six months ago she was climbing waterfalls in the Carribean!

My dad is a few steps away from his long dreamt of Masters in Business. My mother is a few classes away from her Bachelors that she's lamented never finishing for decades.

Things are good.

Speaking of family though, I had a crazy nightmare last night. Long story short my whole extended family was hunting down my sister and I to KILL US. During the course of what seemed a really long dream: Brendon was stabbed and killed someone, my cousin was killed (not by Brendon) on my front lawn trying to protect my sister and I, I was stabbed in the arm by a family member at the reception of...Charlie and Beth who apparently in my dream were related to me, I contemplated cutting a place in my mattress for me to hide in from MY FAMILY. My sister in my dream was a young girl and I the fear I had for her life was horrible. I woke up in panic. Phew. I love waking up from those and reminding myself that it really wasn't real, that I don't have to fear for our lives at that moment. It's been a while since I had a crazy nightmare. They're always about my brothers and sisters...except for the last one. I dreamt Brendon's brother was in trouble and Brendon and I had to save his life. It was wierd because as soon as I was somewhat aware that it was a dream and that I could wake up I had this gripping fear that if I woke up without "saving" Christopher he would die. Sheesh. At least Satan didn't make an appearance in my dream that time. Just my bloodthirsty familia ;)

Peace out y'all. I'll blog again asap and try to keep up with everyones blogs too.

Much Love!
