The Graduate

My little brother graduated today!! I don't know what it's called that he graduated from but it's whatever came after bootcamp. He aced his last wildnerness mission, being placed as platoon leader (at 17years old I might add) and finishing with an added stripe. Who knew? The guys a genius. I don't know how anyone could be prouder of someone. I and others, have worried so much about him. After growing up (and I won't get into it as I feel I have talked, cried, processed so much about it already) with abuse and craziness, he seemed destined for a downward spiral. and now to talk to him on the phone, well, I've never heard him happier. He LOVED this last mission, lamenting the fact that as a reserve he has to take 6 months to live civilian. He has been trying to change to active duty for a few months now.
so here's to Eric and his success. Couldn't be prouder, just couldn't.

Glad he got through the struggles. YEAH Eric!
Good for him! I remember the first time I saw my brother in his navy uniform. He looked so grown-up and I was really proud of him too. I hope your brother enjoys his time in the service and remains safe and healthy. Congratulations!
Way to go, Eric! Well done!
That's great Crista! Congrats to your brother!
