Two deep-ish posts in a row...hmmm
well, I watched the England/Portugal game on Saturday at a sports bar with some friends...how frustrating was that game!! I wanted to tear my hair out! and for England to lose during Penalty Shots..ARRRGH! it was consolation I guess to see the Beckham bride sobbing on the sidelines afterwards...call me insensitive, but I thought it was a bit funny :)

I didn't see the game, but I called my folks in SA to say hi and my dad (who HATES soccer) was watching. His only reason: to see the pommies lose! It was the funniest thing as he's the most loving, kind person with not a bad bone in his body! However I heard his screams of joy when Portugal won! My favorite part was when he told me that "those jolly barbarians had lost and were weeping!" Nice!
