Rock and Hard Place

Please pray for my little brother if you can. He's gone AWOL from bootcamp twice. They don't know what to do with him now. He went back voluntarily both times. He threatened to kill himself on the field so they took away his gun and his shoelaces. They made him go to a Psych evalutation where he told off the psychiatrist and the session ended. They are at an impasse. They can send him to prison, they can give him a dishonorably discharge...I think they are waiting to see if he'll just adjust. He does not allow others to have authority. Too bad he's a flippin' genius. His superiors are so perplexed. They said he's a perfect marksman, in excellent physical fitness...awesome. But "there's something wrong with him". The sad part is he was four weeks away from going home. Apparently my Dad had talked him into doing reserves instead of active duty. Eric had fought long and hard for active duty, but my Dad swayed him at the end.

What to do? Nothing, wait for now. I think of all the people in his young life that could've helped him and chose to use him instead, to abuse him. What a lot.
