New Things...
So life goes as it goes and I am pretty darn happy day to day (sorry if my poetry suggests otherwise...I'm pretty dramatic :). My new profile pic is a selfie. I went on an impromptu hike last weekend. I was driving to the gym and I the weather was so nice I couldn't force myself inside so I saw a nice neighborhood set in a hillside so I drove up and lo and behold there was a trail! There was grafitti on the entrance rails ..it as said "Heaven" and pointed up. It was a beautiful hike! Right at sunset too!
I have been training as gypsy still. Progress is slow as we haven't had a lot of rehearsals but they tell me I'm doing well and I can do nothing but believe em'. The moonwalk is really hard for me to get both the rythm and the strength in my feet. But I am doing well on the neck spins. Tomorrow I will work more with the silks I think and then next week we'll learn the adagio cradle act.
The excitement this weekend was that while I was in a show Casey realized my car key was missing from his key ring. If you'll recall we've been sharing my car since his was totaled...er six weeks ago? um no car for either of us. I walked to Pirates for work on Sunday and all over Fullerton Saturday, which I'll admit gives me no small amount of satisfaction. I do love walking everywhere. Casey rented a car today because he was looking at cars and they all happened to be in the LA area. Tomorrow however I will have a key again and Casey will return the rental. He bought a car today but he won't get it until June 13th (the girl he bought it from is moving to Hawaii!) so we'll be sharing mine still, which actually hasn't been too difficult as we work at the same place most of the time. However next week I'll start working at Islands again and then June 11th I start rehearsals at Knotts Berry Farm.
Oh, in other news I made a fantastic..okay, a good homemade lentil soup this week. I adore cooking and baking. I really can't wait until Cindy and I get our little place in the sun in July and I have a kitchen. ahhhh the possibilities....
