just empty space to pass

Minutes where
we’re disconnect
never again to intersect

I’m sad over each endeavor
I’m sad for what could be
except when I remember
that all possiblities are not free

Emptiness is better
space is better still
the wider the distance is safer
to keep me from a spill

I have to remember
the time I spent "inside"
didn’t further happiness
it incurred mostly pain

Silence is more helpful
loneliness is bliss
compared to the tension
the time we spent in stress

Closure requires patience
requires I move on
Life demands resiliance
to wake with every dawn
