Book Shelf Update
I just finished "Mistress of The Art of Death". It was fantastic, but it started slow. I had a hard time getting to care about the characters for the first few chapters. But I will say, the last half of the book was amazing. I think the story is great, gory, but great.
So if your interested in the story of how a Saracen female doctor travels to feudal England with a Jewish aid to the King of Sicily and a eunuch Arab to uncover the murderer of a handful of children in Cambridge against many MANY odds... I encourage you to read the book.
Now, at the insistence by my fellow dressing room dwellers, I am beginning "The Other Boleyn Girl". Not usually my thing, all this European Renaissance history and historical fiction. I'm usually not a fan. But I read the first chapter and it captured me. So that book is my new dressing room and treadmill companion.
