V Day!!

I know it doesn't seem like it from that poem but I LOVE Valentines Day. I adore it.

I am such a dork, I woke up today with a huge smile on my face. My Mom sent me a card with hearts all over it so I called her this morning. I am working a double at Pirates and so I made a love CD to play in the dressing room, packed all my candles and heart stuff and I'm stopping by Target to pick up some candy and deco. This holiday makes me happy.

Well, yesterday 4 dozen roses were delivered to me at work ..from anonymous. I knew just who they were from. Casey. I text messaged him "tell me the truth, are the flowers from you?" he replied "they were supposed to be anonymous". huh. who else would they be from, my Dad? Shane? Shane and I were having what I percieved as wierdness and silence and he's just not that guy. Don't think I didn't tell him I got flowers at work though. Jerk. They're all jerks these days. So 4 dozen roses is supposed to make me feel better about a year of deception and feeling like shit? Hardly. Those roses will be used today to brighten my girls days and some of the petals will be spread out on the dressing room counters. And whatever is left over will be blown up, one bud at a time on Saturday. The Techs promised to let me help them practice pyro on the damn things in the parking lot. I love my job.

and as for V day plans...well I will be falling in love with two different Pirates today at work (Jason and Raphael - no way and married) and then I will be going out for drinks with the girls and possibly spending the night in Santa Monica with Dannielle because I am going hiking with her tomorrow morning. Fuck guys, at least the stupid ones (and yeah, Melanie is right, I feel uncomfortable spelling out C-O-C-K, it seems more disrepectful, but probably isn't).

P to the S, if Shane wants to prove that he's not some stupid loser he will at least give me a card. or aknowledgement of some kind. We'll see...
